Sunday's are special, this is the day our babies come home for dinner. They hang out in the kitchen with me while I'm fabricating our Sunday feast. Our long winded conversations over a few bottles of good wine can go for hours, our time at the "Round table" is priceless. Jokes, politics, religion and hunting... yes, my sweets is the Great white hunter, 365 days a week and it's all about hunting... home of the Eastman's journal library.

Sunday's menu.... Chicken and dumplings, making it perfect for this cold wet day by the fire. While we were in the kitchen I looked out the window and noticed the Tulip tree was blooming, the cheery shades of pink against the dark green pines really stood out, I had to go on a mini field trip and check it out. The creek was rushing ( it's a tiny spring fed creek) and everything green was thriving from the rains. I'm looking so forward to hopefully a "Fire free" summer. The sad thing is we need the rain but it's only going to feed more vegetation which means more chances of wildfires.

Awwwe.... Gwenna! I'm so sorry you had to contact me on my blog. I've been super busy and going through a little "odd" time right now. I'm ready to design whenever you are. I will be honored to be apart of this, especially since it's for a line of "Southern belle's". I have lots of news :-) I'll be opening shop tonight or tomorrow, not so sure when. I've got a few more things to finish before I take on anymore work. Alaska is in 60 more days so I best get my chores done!

Call me when you can ~ Mucho love

Oh... you're welcome to "cindyland" anytime, Spring is coming & it's looking like a park again.
