Half way there -Packing soon!

Friday, October 2, 2009

In the midst of the late summer craziness, I survived and am finally back on track. The crazy orders, abundance of requests, creating, building, not sleeping, traveling and a crashed computer. I can honestly say that I'm happy September is over. I'll truly miss the warm sun, the long bright days , family swimming parties, barbecues, my garden and the sounds of the lawn mower. Put the flip flops up... It's time to put boots back on and bring out the flannel and wool.

The kick off to October started with a new Mac and a shop that's half way done. Now the fun begins! I anxiously await the siding, electrical and insulation, I can start creatively decorating.
Soon the creek will be full, the sounds of rushing water and the sweet songs flowing from my little creekhouse.

I followed a path back to your blog and jewelry and am in awe. It's beautiful, as is the blog. I'm a new fan. :)

SO jealous over the new studio. Before we moved I had a separate studio and it was perfect. I know you'll enjoy it.

Hi Lori!

I feel like a little girl who's finally getting her playhouse. The most important thing right now is to keep it simple.

So nice to meet you!

Hey Rachael!
So nice to see you here ;o) Yes, my family bought me this sign as they very well know how I feel about mean people. Life's too short to be mean. Only happy thoughts, nice words and a lot of laughing will be allowed in my studio. Bad attitudes will be escorted out rather swiftly!

Ooooh....love the creekhouse!!!

Love the "Be nice" sign--it's so subtle. :-)

Love that you're seeing and making progress in this season of transition...love the energy and excitement you're generating!

What a haven you're creating!! Enjoy the process!

Hey my Caroline! Ohhh it's soooo good to see your words! I'm overwhelmed with joy, so much that I could hardly stand the wait. It's getting Tyvek on this very minute, I keep looking out the window and smiling ;o) let the siding begin! Looks small but when I'm standing inside, it's big (to me anyway).

More updates this week. Oh...Your package is on it's way!

Sweet Marie!

Ahh... winter in Alaska, I can only imagine how cold it gets there. Your summers are like our winters eh?

I do know this... it's harder for me to work in the winter than the spring and summer months. I sometimes wish I were in a place with a steady temperature, no heater or air conditioner. I'll miss my flip flops!

I guess the siding takes longer to cut and apply, fingers crossed and high hopes of being in the creek house before Thanksgiving. Was hoping for Halloween but the days are getting shorter so I'll have to learn "patience"! ;-)
